Don't worry about the board.

Jim Phipps will be online soon to tell us that we're all aware that while improvements need to be made, that now's not the time to worry about it. Finances are available, we have great foundations, a good manager, some good talent, it's all going to be fine, promotion is still the ambition.

Only with a lot more management waffle about integration and synergy, new paradigms to explore, and other such bollocks.
 
Everybody has under performed this season including Adkins. His signings have been indefensible. Lazy signings in many ways with seemingly no scouting. That said whoever comes in will have to work with a huge group of spineless players who nobody wants on wages they don't deserve even half of. Adkins has a great record and we have to give him next season

I don't think he deserves next season. His mistakes were too important to get wrong.

McCabe saved us in the early 2000's and has continued to bank roll us big style. He has made some shocking managerial appointments (Robson in particular who blew multi millions) but he isn't going to walk away when we owe him so much.

Sorry they are not. They keep proving this whatever the manager, tactics or formation. Most of them never have and never will be good enough to get out of this league. We can question the manager, the board etc. and some of those criticisms will be valid. However these players are useless and the sooner we can get shut of most of these bottlers and non achievers the better. No one should be accused of over reacting tonight because todays result and performance now happens on an all to regular basis.

Let's be honest we haven't a hope in hell this season, so we may as well achieve something worthwhile where possible.

The youngsters could be afforded valuable first team minutes, with no pressure to get promoted. There's no point deluding ourselves we've a chance of promotion with the current crop, because we haven't.

What would you like the board to have done (hindsight being as it is) and what now, they appoint

the manager and then they back him, how many people on here have run businesses and been

successful, not many I reckon but you know better than the board how to run the club, they make

discisions if they go wrong we all shout, if you say the same and it fails you keep it shut because

nobody knows about it

So you may as well do that under Adkins if you are writing this season off what do you gain out of Morgs being in charge ? And then looking for another new manger in the summer? Doesn't make sense

It doesn't make sense to have a manager that can't get very simple decisions right to be taking charge of the rebuilding process.

No they are not and have consistently proved this whatever the manger, formation or tactics. We can criticise the manager and board all we like but these players are not and never will be good enough to get us promoted out of this league. What does any shape matter if the players don't turn up?

Talk about it all you like but if 2/3/11 players are crap they are crap.

He's going to need next season because he can't get rid of most of the spineless crap until the summer at least.

As I've commented before, we need a Charlton-style clearout and a complete rebuilding of the side from the spine outwards.

Its fair to say that as a team they're "not fit to wear the shirt" and its not very often in the last 50 years I've said that !! :mad:

We should refuse to sing the GCB song in protest for the next few games and wave white handkerchiefs at them like they do in Spain .....

The other 1% of me thinks- this is the guy who brought in Woolford!
