yeah we know. we agree with you mateGuilty as charged. The point I was trying to make, but didn't, was that we could bring in two players with the attributes we're missing and the rest would look a lot better. On paper many are good enough, but as a team unit it doesn't work because we lack players with those key attributes.
I don't think he deserves next season. His mistakes were too important to get wrong.Everybody has under performed this season including Adkins. His signings have been indefensible. Lazy signings in many ways with seemingly no scouting. That said whoever comes in will have to work with a huge group of spineless players who nobody wants on wages they don't deserve even half of. Adkins has a great record and we have to give him next season
Come on then Yoda tell us the solution.I don't think he deserves next season. His mistakes were too important to get wrong.
Fuck him then it is time for the fans to walk away, that is the only way to make money men focus.Who exactly is going to do that?
We owe McCabe/ Scarborough/his family trusts nearly £50m quid. He's hardly likely to go hop skip and jumping away from that, is he?
Why not go down and wave your shoes in the car park if it makes you happier.
Get real Blades.
McCabe saved us in the early 2000's and has continued to bank roll us big style. He has made some shocking managerial appointments (Robson in particular who blew multi millions) but he isn't going to walk away when we owe him so much.

Or stop selling our best players?
I'm looking at the players. They are good enough, talent wise, to get up out of this league. They are consistently not putting in shifts or performances under different managers.
Sorry they are not. They keep proving this whatever the manager, tactics or formation. Most of them never have and never will be good enough to get out of this league. We can question the manager, the board etc. and some of those criticisms will be valid. However these players are useless and the sooner we can get shut of most of these bottlers and non achievers the better. No one should be accused of over reacting tonight because todays result and performance now happens on an all to regular basis.
Cut the dross in January, and let Morgs bring through a fresh set of the most promising youngsters.Come on then Yoda tell us the solution.
Cut the dross in January, and let Morgs bring through a fresh set of the most promising youngsters. Let's be honest we haven't a hope in hell this season, so we may as well achieve something worthwhile while it's possible. The youngsters could be afforded valuable first team minutes, with no pressure to get promoted. There's no point deluding ourselves we've a chance of promotion with the current crop, because we haven't.

For this season, and evaluate from there. So Morgan is your answer?
WOW!

Not a full team of youngsters, just a select few of the most promising."There" presumably being League two?

It doesn't make sense to have a manager that can't get very simple decisions right to be taking charge of the rebuilding process. So you may as well do that under Adkins if you are writing this season off what do you gain out of Morgs being in charge ? And then looking for another new manger in the summer? Doesn't make sense

We've been playing 4-3-3 largely from what I can tell.
According to my friend who went, Baxter was wide in a 4-4-2? But he says we lacked shape/balance.
