You can get away with that when you have 2 or 3 exceptional ones. Sadly, we have none.

Our problem had been employing managers who are rubbish.

For once, probably luck over judgement, we bucked that trend.

We owe McCabe/ Scarborough/his family trusts nearly £50m quid. He's hardly likely to go hop skip and jumping away from that, is he?

In terms of talent I believe they have. I'd also say that most of our 1st XI would walk into almost every team in this league.

They have talent and ability but the problem is that they seem to lack athleticism, power, pace, height, strength, leadership, mental strength, fight and determination

This has been the issue we've had for four years. We're not bringing in the right type of player.

Guilty as charged. The point I was trying to make, but didn't, was that we could bring in two players with the attributes we're missing and the rest would look a lot better. On paper many are good enough, but as a team unit it doesn't work because we lack players with those key attributes.
