Sat on the next table to Super Danny Webber in Caffé Uno, Ecc Rd. last night - he was enjoying a healthy salad. :) I was mullering a massive pizza. I think that may be why we differ in fitness.

Next time I see him i'll advise him to eat more pizzas to get him upto your fitness level!!

Saw Bryan Robson, Terry Robinson, Andy Daykin, two other blokes and one really fat bloke in the Everest on Chesterfield Road last night.

What's the Everest like these days......not been in for ages.

Nice food. It was strange how the Important Football Men had one side of the place to themselves though ,while those of us who work for a living were all stuck in the other side.

Would you have really liked to have sat with old Terry and his Biryani??

:p

No, but putting us near them would have saved our wives from going to the toilet every five minutes "for a look" then coming back and saying "I wouldn't know who he was". That's because you don't like football dear.

Saw Danny Webber at Worksop with a bunch of other players Monday ;)

When i was going to the Newry game - in Newcastle airport ( from where i was flying from) - at the security bit was Craig Short

He's not a Blade but our young un saw Akon in Napa last night.

He's here along with 50 cent and a load of others for the Med fest in Nicosia tonight. After show party in Napa at the Sunset Beach.:cool::cool:

deano

my best memory of meeting a blade was brian deane at the sainsburys on archer road got talking to him nice bloke an all that but just as i was about to part ways this little women in the thickest jamaican accent popped her head up holding a pair of disgusting green shorts and said "brian wha'dya tink ta deez" to which he replied yes mum i looked up at his face and he actually looked as if he dare not say no to his mother

tony currie tried to run me over

played snooker against alan quinn

chatted shaun murphys mum up in cardiff i was more interested in her than him

when i worked at homebase met neil warnock but the best one came when carlton palmer and paul jewell came on seperate occasions i was following carlton round the store waiting for him to get to the tills as he got to the back of the Q i jumped on a till and said next please he came forward an i simply shut the little gate an said not you though dont serve pigs he got right face on complained and i nearly got sacked ........and it would have been worth it for seeing his face drop as if i should bow down to the messiah that is carlton palmer.
paul jewell was decent bloke i did same again but served him he bought a big expensive lawnmower and loads of other things it all came to around a grand when he got his cash out i made a point of re counting it and without trying to laugh at myself said that'l be another £29,999,000 please he had a laugh and said he'd send dave allen up to pay his debts off.

by the way neil warnock ended up buying a cheap water cooler for the players nice to know they buy from crappy shops and send tea boys out

Hahaha.... classy :D

Tony Currie used to live 3 doors down from me for years, used to give us all free footballs and got us trials at united.

True story.

then i believe he moved to killamarsh where the kid who loved on the road next to him was in the academy. maybe he grooms kids:eek:

Just seen Bryan Robson in the car park at The Lane of all places!

:D:D:D

I would have talked to him but he was in deep with 2 media types who were about to put a video camera in his face!

After today's match, I popped into Tesco on Abbeydale Road (after having a couple of pints with an old friend of mine in the Globe). As I went to the checkout to pay, I thought I recognised the chap in front of me who was looking at my shirt. Then it dawned on me - isn't that Billy Sharp? A swift glance at the strapping on the hand confirmed that yes, it was!

He nodded and said hello to me - I must have been staring a bit! - and I told him he had a good game. He and his mate were buying some booze, but he told me that it was for his friend - a likely story! He said it was good to be back and that his hand's on the mend. He's a really nice guy, and even let me have my pic taken with him, which I'll upload at some point :)

Made my evening, that did!

Once saw AkinBADBUY on the tram- doing an interview for sky.
and once saw Jags in sainsburys at Archer road.

Geary and Squinny in leadmill tonight,

not a very clear pic though

Nice pic Robbie! Were they hammered? :)

Here's me and Billy Sharp on Saturday...
