Hello lads from a Worcester City fan based in Stockport.
As you can imagine we are all pretty chuffed with drawing the Blades in the cup. But for me personally it's the dream tie, having played cricket in Sheffield for 10 years back in the mid 1990s / 2000s and having loads of mates who are Blades (including my best man). I've always wanted the chance to see the two sides play and after getting our revenge over Coventry City last season, we are looking for a chance to assuage our defeat to United in 1959, which halted our best ever FA cup run (4th round). I've seen quite few games at Bramall Lane in my time, including watching a cup upset from the John Street stand one night when you beat Arsenal (a few years ago now!).
Really looking forward to the game and hopefully a great atmosphere, both prior to the game (for a few scoops), during and after (for a few more). Note sure how many fans we will bring, but last year we took 3000+ to Coventry and 2,000+ to Scunthorpe (although both games were on a Sunday and cup fever had really bitten). I would hope for 2,000+ this year but you never know. Worcester is still a football city, even if we are currently forced to ground share at our neighbours Kidderminster. The city always gets up for a cup run. We should make some noise and it will be a great day out.
