Been at a horror film festival (with added horror of Millwall fans streaming passed me as I ducked outside to eat a sandwich), how was it today?

I think Millwall will be up there come the end of the season so I had no great expectations before the game.I was surprised by the team selection though.

Ironically it was a better performance. Millwall came and had a good go, which left some space for us to play a bit more advanced. Their 1st was a fluke off the back of their strikers head, didn't see the second but it came against the run of play. Seemed a sucker punch to be honest. I thought we shaded it.

We're a playoff side at the moment.

In addendum, JCR was very good. Collins missed a few headers at attacking set pieces. Che hit the post.

Referee and linesmen were absolutely shocking. Millwall were good off the ball, pressed a lot in the second half and were very physical. Hammond helps us mix it but I actually think Basham is lightweight in centre midfield.

Overall I thought a point would have been unlucky. Looking forward to a clear out this summer whatever happens; we need it.

The second was a Howard own goal :(:(:(

We were the better team and a better all round performance from the players today, but we failed to take any chances today, one shot on target tells the story.
We were trying to walk the ball in the net again, we had enough clear shooting chances in the first half alone to win the game but didn't go for it.

It was very similar to the Fleetwood performance, just against a better and smarter side.

Playing as we are we're a upper mid table to 5th/6th place side. Hoping sides like Gillingham and Walsall dip in form is pointless as unless things change fast we'll be too far behind them for it to matter.

Other than the goal we created nothing. We weren't a threat, they knew it and were happy to defend.

We looked fairly bright until their 1st goal, unfortunately after we looked slow in the build up, toothless going forward and sadly didn't show enough desire to win second balls or challenge.

Adkins' promise of attacking football was not evident to me today.

Why are you trying to wind people up?

Simply not good enough. Some good approach play 1st half but we barely had a shot. 2nd half was poor.

Millwall were average but we made it easy for them. We lack pace, power and passion.

3 defeats at home before the end of Oct in L1 is a disgrace. If as expected we don't go up that we will be our longest spell out of the top 2 divisions ever.

Oh for some owners who would put some serious investment in rather than taking the piss out of our incredibly loyal fans.

But apart from that everything is great.

Disappointed yet again.
Just taking a breather before heading down the M1 back to Leicester.
Back again in a cupla weeks for more disappointment against Southend. Cheers! :)

JCR was indeed very good. Naturally Adkins subbed him to play Sammon wide. Midfield AWOL first half, Done off for Baxter fixed a bunch of stuff, namely some creativity was there.

Thought Baxter did well. Basham isn't the answer in centre midfield for me but can understand that Adkins was trying to combat Millwall's physicality.

Surprised by the post as well. Thought we created chances and got into attacking positions.

Millwall will be top 6 end of the year.
So losing at home to a side you expect to finish top 6 in Div 3 is fine? Our low do our expectations have to be?

I think we're probably a top 6 side ourselves and think we were unlucky. Thought it was a decent game of football for this level with two well matched sides. I'm surprised if you expect this group of players to perform better; we've not got top 2 quality - we're still two or three players short. You can't seriously think we're a top 2 side can you?

I think we are poor...which after 5 years at this level is a disgrace.

We were the better side going forward, sabotaged by our kamakazi defence once again.

Millwall played the perfect away game scored first kept it tight and hit us on the break... Any side that attacks us will always have a chance against us at the back.

New goalkeeper for me
no confidence in Howard,he's too clumsy and flappy,if you know what I mean

I thought the team at the start of the second half was the best we have at the moment, unfortunately

the best aint good enough ................ probably deserved a draw, but to be honest meh!

Having seen enough of us this season, I thought it would be a difficult game as I suspect they'll be up there as well. No doubt it's a poor division, but that's division 3.

Think Basham and Hammond my be too similar, Baxter should start and Basham probably back Into the back four.

As an aside the ref was a joke and bottled a straight red late when one of our guys (think it was Baxter) copped a hand in the face after a foul.

Also SYP seem to now be pulling in reinforcements from Leicester, think the Millwall fans each had their own personal dibble today
