Really hope he does - he looked (very) big, strong and solid last week for half a game.

It is what we need in CD - just needs to keep it going and not drop his standards...aka Edgar.

Matt Done gave a penalty away for Rochdale's first and went missing for their second and today he's lost his man at a corner. So let's remember that it's not always just the four defenders who can be to blame for us conceding goals.

I didn't go today but Keith Edwards said something many have mentioned a lot this season. The defenders look like they are way off their men and that's why the opposition forwards are able to turn and run at us but this could well be more down to the lack of a defensive midfielder than due to poor play back the centre backs. They won't get many easier games but it seems Collins and McGahey played well today. Not that I think they are good enough but I think it's unfair to put our poor defensive play solely on the centre backs

That's a repeat of most of his interviews, and whatever they do to remedy the errors seems to be forgotten the minute they step on the pitch. Seems to be the same problem Clough had with most of these players.
 
Yeah it's a shit point agree, should have won agree, should be beating 10 men agree, got to put away chances agree, is this happening to often? Yes it is but look on the bright side didn't lose and only one side above us won not the end of the world. It needs sorting ASAP as a better side would have easily beat us today maybe in a Gillingham styley but they didn't. Burton went away to a team in the bottom 4 and got hammered 4-0. Got to try and take 3 points Tuesday and then 3 more next Saturday. Fingers crossed.

Don't come on here with a balanced view on things bergen. This forum survives purely on the hatred of SUFC, Jim Phipps, Kevin McCabe, Nigel Adkins, Neill Collins, Billy Sharp, Jessica Ennis, Some welsh bird who lives/lived in Rhyll, Martin Samuel and whoever else I've missed.

There is a difference in tone to Adkins interviews over the last couple of weeks.

I get the sense that Adkins has run out of patience with a few of the players but hasn't yet been able to have the clear out he wants yet. He needs to get on with it for me, if the board want that to happen before he can go again in the transfer market.

Warnock would have had 6 or 7 out by now simply by forcing the situation
