The end of season cull?

Sorrry if this should have been on the contract bit (thread police alerted early) and I know it's not Champ Manager but looking at the end of the season made me realise how many might finally move on. We ay keep one or two but cant see many remaining.

Goalkeepers - Can't see any of keepers coming back.

Defence - Collins, McEveley, Alcock, McGahey have done nothing to warrant another contract. Edgar too wont return unless he makes big improvements.

Maybe Harris might come back if gets fit but he is another would not surprise me if he moved on.

---

Midfield we wont retain Flynn, Campbell Ryce, Cuvellier or Wallace (J) I feel. Di Maio, Khan Whiteman and McFadzean will also move on - nowhere near first team at moment.

---

Attack Higdon will go and I also think Sammmon wont come back on current up and down form.

---

Players left would be following if we don't re-sign anyone - they might give another year to K Wallace and maybe Baxter if he can carry on recent improvements so might be more but if they don't return.....

I make it only 13 left....chance to properly start again and out of 13; Calvert Lewin, Wright still kids really so more like 11

I would expect McNulty, Scougall to be moved on and Coutts I doubt will ever be fit sadly

So could be more like 8!!!

Fantastic post Deadbat i was wondering this earlier.

I find it absolutely abhorrent that we have managed to accumulate so much shit and crocks.

My second thought is that knowing SUFC like we do they will renew the contracts of some of them!

You'd think some fucker would bear in mind now that this is the case and start paying some of the useless cunts off now - the first two for me Wallace and Cuvelier what a waste of fucking wages and resource.

Reckon that we would probably keep, Alcock, squad player who can cover all positions.
McGahey, still young for a central defender and Adkins is giving him games.
Flynn, good squad player and can cover at right back.
Campbell-Ryce. Offers something coming off the bench.

I'd already mentioned this before, we're building a new team next season, great but if it's in the third division it will set the club back years as we have to offer 2/3 year contracts to dross on third division wages.

It really is critical that we get up this season and build our new team with second division players.

Treat Brayford right and we've got him for years.

If he gets over his injury and isn't another Wallace then we build around him and make full use of his attitude.

Wouldn't write off McGahey, Edgar and Sammon yet

Transfer list Scougall
Pay off Coutts so we aren't perpetually fooled by one decent game in 10.

James Wallace is contracted until 2017 so we have another year of him after this. Lucky us.
