I know I've posted this before and most of the regular posters will be aware, but if not...

Sheff-Utd.co.uk would like to extend a very warm welcome to all of you out there who would maybe like to say hello - come and join us for a drink in the Golden Lion on Alderson Road.

We first started meeting there nearly two years ago now, the social lubricant of alcohol making introductions a whole lot less awkward. Soon it became our regular port of call before every home match, with usually a dozen or so forum members in attendance.

We're a pretty friendly bunch, and we're exactly the same in person as we are on here... whether it's a one-off or you end up becoming a regular, we always like to meet the people we talk to so much.

Anyway, it's an early kick off on Saturday... so we'll be outside the Lion for about 11ish.

... and mine's a Carling.

PS: Has anyone been in now the new landlord/lady has took over?

The easiest way, is by looking at the members picture thread HERE. Generally, Silverfox is the easiest to pick out, looking exactly like his avatar and everything, but Foxy and myself will also be there.

I have had my haircut though and i'm just getting my tan topped up in the back garden!

Can't make it till November, I plan to be at the Plymouth game.

First game in four years and weve got Plymouth at home, rather unsporting of the fixture computer.

There have been a lot Fu**s and Blinds since I found out who we were playing. Can't let that spoil it though really looking forward to it.

just been watchin blade clips on you tube and the missus said that I really need to visit the lane and get it out of my system.

Can't wait till november, oh forgot rain, rain and pissing cold what more could you ask for at BDTBL.

Draught in the Lion was Stones, Worthingtons, Stella, Carling and Strongbow and possibly something else I can't remember... may have changed with the new owners though.

As long as they haven't installed Fosters and Bud to further insult my tastebuds, I'll be ok...
