In The Graduate in town watching the match earlier with the missus.

She's not really been into football and her Dad's a wednesdayite, but I've taken her to a couple of matches this season and she now identifies as a Blade, but she still doesn't really have much clue.

Last game I took her to was Tuesday, and the one before was Blackpool. She was asking today why we're always shite in the first half, and I told her I have no idea.

After the match I told her I'll take her again in December, and that I reckon our performances would pick up by then with all the new players we'll potentially have available, and the ones coming back from injury.

At that moment, as we were walking down past the theatres, a man with shades and an outstanding beard was walking towards us. I couldn't stop staring, and I had many special feelings in that moment, until I realised that we'd walked past him, and I was staring at his backside, making the observation that he's put on a bit of weight, and is muffin topping a little bit.

Anyways, the point of this story is that I saw John Brayford in a time of need and didn't have the balls to approach him.

No homo.

He was with an older guy.

The question - did he walk unaided , if so was it with or without a limp. No pun in it . Just cannot wait for the fella to pull the shirt back on , and be running on the pitch . Light at the end of the tunnel , and all that
