I don't really care anyway. We (you) have got off the point that you stated a fact from 15 (and then another from 50) years in the future and that being ridiculous sailed right over your head.

It wasn't too far in the past that I remember heading to Bournemouth to watch us under Danny Wilson break their long unbeaten run. Jamie Murphy got the winner, and we generally made them look ordinary.

A thought occurred when I saw the goals from their win at West Ham – several of those that looked decidedly average in that loss to us are now unlikely stars for their Premier League team. Simon Francis had a tough time against Murphy (who hadn't even found anything near top form at that stage) and I though Pugh looked poor. Both played key roles in some of the goals last Saturday. You see similar examples at Southampton where those in Adkins's L1 team stayed involved in their rise to the top tier.

So here's the question. Let's say in the next few years we have a similar ascent. Who would be three unlikely players that from our current 1st team squad would still play a prominent part in the Premier League team and be able to make the adjustment? I'm imagining some might be snapped up by then (Adams), some might be too old. My three would therefore be: Brayford, Basham, Flynn.
