For about 15 years, I've toiled, sweated, cried, budgeted and stressed my way to a reasonably successful business.
By successful, I don't mean fabulously wealthy, but to be in a position where I can allow my two lads to run things while Mrs Greasy and I consider taking a bit of an extended break this Winter.
Herein lies the problem.
We are considering renting a little place in Southern Spain for about 6 weeks from mid Jan to end of Feb.
On the upside, Mrs Greasy has a... errr... new lease of life (if you know what I mean) when we are on holiday and the chance to escape the dreary British Winter really appeals to me.
The obvious down side (other than an almost celibate existence if I don't go) would be missing my beloved Blades play.
So, what should I do?

Go and enjoy your life, the blades will always be there your health may not!

Not boasting at all AshMash.
6 weeks in a 3 bed villa for about £800. Not bad eh?
It's something I've wanted to do for years and it looks like this year it might finally be possible.
I'm happy to know most on here would sacrifice a few games for the chance to grab a bit of summer sunshine.
I don't feel so disloyal now!!
You watch, the bleeders will go on a 8 match winning streak scoring about 50 goals.

Sweet Baby Jesus and all the orphans. All that Sun, sea and secretions to have the slight disruption of knowing the final score at Bury was 0-0. I reckon your Bladeyness has more than enough credits to just enjoy the break.

UPDATE

If by some miracle the Blades start winning, I think I speak for all when I say book the next 6 weeks as well.

Move to Spain.................

next question?

If she's got..errr...a new lease of life GCB,let her go on her own....Just exactly where is it she'll be staying ?:D
Costa del Sol Mate. Just wander up and down the beach looking for a grumpy old bird who doesn't appreciate anything you do and you'll not miss her.....come to think of it, neither will I :D

Been travelling a couple of times, once for a year and other time for 6 months, first time before easy access t'net other time with Internet cafes etc. Missed the matches and Blades badly but they'll be there when you get back, you cant get back experiences you've missed out on. Definitely 100% got for it.

There are a few Blades bars out in the Med, we should make a list of them
Went to Nerja recently, Bar el Bosque in town has got shed loads of Blades shirts on the wall.

However when I paid a visit, the owner wasn't in, but a cockney bartender was:(
