Genuine question because I don't know the answer. Of Middlesborough's 7 semi final appearances, how many were achieved while they were in the Premier league?

I am not cynic, but to settle for being giant killers rather than giants is complacency, in the long run.

Loathe as I am to be a self-hating Blade but if offered I'd be tempted to swap all these 'exciting' failures and 'thrilling' defeats for being a league higher and having won a trophy in my lifetime.

When me and the "old man" went to the lane together, he'd say to me, I "wonder if they will ever win anything in my lifetime", he would say that periodically from me being 7/8 yrs old up until he passed away in 91' I was 37.
