... Bramall Lane would probably be student flats.

... I'd have had no reason to go to Cardiff, along with other numerous shitholes I've visited - so would be spared the delights of Watford Market!

Well..... we would probably all be owls.

My love of football has always been there, with no relevance to United. I never grew up supporting United, or in a United family. But from the age of about 7 I started being a Blade and never looked back since. From having a season ticket on the family enclosure, to a season ticket on the upper tier, to the kop then to the south stand to now not currently having a season ticket.

I do have United to thank for a lot of happy memories, namely the quarter final versus coventry in 92 was it? The WBA 6-0 victory.....

The amazing trips that turned to disappointment to such places like OT against Arsenal, Millenium stadium versus Wolves, Wembley versus Wednesday.

I've seen us pasted 6-0 at Main Road.

But I have met a lot of good people through Sheffield United, namely quite a few off this forum.

It brings me and my mates closer together, gives us good conversation, and been many a piss up and good time following the blades round the country.

I would perhaps have been able to support a team that won things every now and then and was always embroiled in some controversy or other.

But would I have been happy.......naw dont think so, its charachter building being a Blade
