A Wednesday fan walks into a bar in Ayia Napa, wearing his pig stripe shirt.

The waitress (incidentally our lass) says to him sorry you can't come in here wearing that shirt.

He retorts why not, there are plenty of tables.

The waitress replies yes there are, but I would not like your smell to upset my customers and we have pork on the menu, possibly a cousin or two.

The man replies your from sheffield arn't you ?

God your quick and Yes I am a blade to boot !!!!

Our lass says the man started laughing and saw the funnyside, but she says his missus wern't to pleased.

All the way from sheffield he says and to be served by a Blade.

Oh well she replies you can always leave !!!!

A little incident yesterday.

Just to prove that there is still some good fiendly football banter around, with all this Tevez sh**te bouncing around. :D :D :D

When we was in Magaluf, we was in a Wednesday bar. And we decided to watch the game against Wigan in their amongst Sheffielders. The bar owner Jimmy and his wife was obviously owls. But she was sporting about it and chucked a blades shirt on for full game. He was like "right we're getting divorced" and we was like "NA NA NA NA NA SHES A BLADE AND SHES A BLADE"

Much recommended bar if you ever go over there people.

Hahaha... good girl :D

She also bumped into Arron Lennon the other day and wasn't going to serve him cause he had played for Dirty Leeds. She let him in cause he is now at Tottenham.

He left a tenner tip too, bout 12 quid in english.

To be honest, I don't think Magaluf has the qualities I look for in a holiday i.e. no bloody english people!

You will find English people no matter where you go Linzita.

Yes but they aren't necessarily the english people who would find Magaluf an attractive prospect!

Perceptions of places can be different to what they actually are.

But none of the places I've visited have their names changed to sexual references for the sake of a website...

Shagalluf.com anyone?

Each to their own... but I prefer small quiet independent places with no high-rise hotels in site and definitely no clubs.

Exactly Linz, you are only going on hear say (and they was a crap band :D)

If you want the hustle and bustle of "Shagaluf" then that is there for you. But the resort has a lot more to it than that.

The first is Magaluf, the second is Kokkari... that's all the evidence I need thanks :) The highest building in Kokkari is a church and the restaurants account for the nightlife.

I'm not stating anything to do with hotels. Yes they are just like flats. But I don't go on holiday to be in the hotel.
