Is anybody actually excited about the fixtures being released? It isn't like there are any big games in this league. There's nobody to "keep an eye out for" like when we share a league with the pigs or some big teams.

We've got to play them all anyway. Does it really matter when?

I'd be keen for one of the relegated teams first. Get them out the way while they're finding their feet.

Very much want Southend away on the second week of the season. I want a day at the seaside and it's the only one I can make while it's sunny!

Donny away around Xmas would be splendid.

Last year I predicted our first game would be at home to Chesterfield And we would win 4-1. Thank god I'm not a betting man.

To a point, yes. You'd rather avoid the most difficult fixtures around the start of the season and over Christmas but apart from that, not that bothered.
It does help you plan the year though.

Wigan for me, test our metal from the off. We can do it we are the NEW Bladey Blades and we are coming

Mahou is nice , but when in Nerja prefer cruzcampo , in front of the church in the square lovely little pub sells it , in the glass pint tankards straight out of fridge , only €3 a pop .
Think I've been there ..

But any beer tastes good in the sun. Apart from Wards. That was always shit

I look out for tantalising away fixtures on Bank Holiday weekends.

cheringuito bar serves it icy cold and you get free nibbles 2 euros fifty
I enjoyed Cruzcampo in Nerja on my last run through there

Someone nice and easy at home first for me (yes i know no game is an easy game in this league) but it would be nice to play someone expected to do nothing and probably will be boring all season like Oldham or Port Vale. Get that opening day win and build from that, i'd prefer the tough teams end of October/November time when teams have found there level. I do hope for Blackpool away early on or on the last day away. :D

UTB

P.S we signed anyone yet ? as even though Adkins needs to see the current squad we still need players.

Or you could say the teams in the PL will look at the fixtures and think 'Fuck me! We're gonna get slaughtered!' Unless you're Newcastle. And have just dropped a galactic bollock in giving McLaren an extended contract...

Back to us, and a good/great start will have us all looking at upcoming games with anticipation - whoever it is. Perform like last season and it'll be a long grind.

Fear this is turning off topic somewhat, but I find Alhambra Especial to be Spain's best beer by a country mile!

if its tasty , ice cold and stops you dehydrating in the 34=c heat it seems lovely
theres a sunrise beach bar that does Warsteiner , with shards of ice in it thats spectacular
as for Wizardry

On my first trip to the canarys , my sister in law lives out that way , Mahou was the first pint I had over there , Spanish pint that is , still have the solid glass tankard in my shed , Jesus that's close to 16 yrs ago , any Blades in maspalomas this September let us know , and maybe go for a Mahou or two .
In Nerja a round cost us €27 , less than half the cost in rip of Ireland .
