Oops my bad. Though it was strange no-one had already picked up on it...
Sorry Foxy/Linz!

However, Cotterill has favoured a strike pairing of Kieran Agard and Aaron Wilbraham this season and said Emmanuel-Thomas needs "regular football".

He added: "It was very sad really, I've been a big supporter for Jay. When people look at him and see his laid-back style and then suggest he doesn't care - it's the total opposite.

Doesn't sound like a Clough signing, a laid-back striker...

He was very poor last season (and it's unusual for me to remember opposition players, for good or bad reasons) and his scoring record has got worse since then. I wouldn't be uplifted by his arrival.

I've followed his form on and off for a couple of years as I have some Bristol City supporting relatives. Really don't think he's one for us.

He has all the talent in the world and if he was a little more hard working and aggressive he would be a PL striker without any shadow of a doubt. He's frankly just too lazy and I think he's one of those players who will never change his style. Not one for rolling his sleeves up when the going gets tough. Our supporters would be on his back at the first sign of it.

Not a chance, we need to have a team as good as Bristol city's were this season, so signing one of their fringe players doesn't show the right attitude to me

Decent player but has an attitude problem and with Clough's track record I doubt he would last 5 minutes in this squad.

Yeah, we need grafters, not flair players. Swindon had a team full of flair players and look how far that got them....

Big, strong, quick, skillful at times. Lazy bastard the majority of it. No thanks!

I'd rather have lazy and talented than shit and determined. Give me a Kevin McDonald over a Nick Montgomery any day of the week.

Lazy players can be made to try through good man management. It's much harder to make shit players good.

Gossip column on teletex suggesting a rash of championship clubs are after him, including Brum, Forest, Leeds, make of that what you will. Latters has summed it up for me.

He was released last month by Bristol City and he could do a good job for us alongside Adams/Done/Sharp/a n other next season.
I was impressed by Grant in midfield for Crewe last season also.

I doubt he will drop to L1.

I heard even prem teams were sniffing around which i would be shocked about if it ever comes off.

I get the feeling that JET is one of these players who will drift from club to club despite his obvious talent. I certainly wouldn't complain if we signed him but I can't see it happening.

I think it said in another thread he got boo'ed by his own fans at BDTBL.
Tells a story.

A bit of a Calton Cole type, looks class on his day but only has one day every 8 or so, still would be worth a punt on.

I expect he will sign for a lower end Championship club though.
