I think that's quite good. Don't think Clough is stilted at all. But Thrill? Really? WTF?

Clough out. Board out. Shoes off and socks out ;-)

Not having a dig at Clough here, but that was a really awkward video to watch

Just watched it so his he the man still to lead us to the promise land of the championship next season. He failed this season , and watching that , i am surprised he didn't fail the audition for the video . Why make it in the first place.

Well considering the Tories were winners, then it's more like a labour ppb.............

(Lights touch paper and stands well back)

I don't get it?
It's THRILL and MAGNET.
I always think of the lyrics as describing the perfect night out round sheffield, and I've never left a bar early or the taxi queue to do some late night fishing

I'm not going to blame Clough for this one, but that's absolutely awful. CLOUGH AHT!

It bookends the song.

That's why the first line is, "You fill up my senses".

Pretty obvious.

The original john Denver song is indeed bookended with "come fill me again"

However, I've never doubted that our version is "come thrill me again". The GCB lyrics talk about the feeling and whilst fill fits, it's an exaggerated 'thrill'...

Obviously it's not really that important, you can sing either. If it was we'd be talking about 'disappoint me again'

It originated in Woodhouse. The blokes drinking in the Junction, and the Stag.
It's Magnet and "fill". End of.
:p
