Do I believe he's going to go out and murder Clough? No.

But think how you'd feel if someone proposed, on a public forum, killing a member of your family because of their performance at work - then went on to discuss the benefits of doing so.

Clough should expect some public criticism as part of the job. He should not have to expect that people will publicly propose killing him.
