Hi lads n lasses, was hoping my first post on the forum would be a more positive one but unfortunately not!

Stefan has had the necessary scans etc and its shown exactly what he, Nigel and the fans most feared, ligament damage. Likely to be out for the rest of the season and beyond.

Let's hope he makes a full recovery as he's a top lad, top player and he loves the Blades!

Fictional?
Yes, I thought after I'd typed it that it can't be that many. Someone said 45 the other day which was possibly bollocks, but the pertinent point is that it sounded realistic enough to to not question.

Our squad is way too large, the result of poor planning by either Clough, the club, or both.

Ah so this is why we have a million midfielders in our squad.

Hope Scoooooogs gets fit ASAP.

Someone on Blades Mad apparently said 41 and he was including in the "first team squad" the likes of Scarisbrick, Banton and Hamilton.

We have 22 senior players and about 7 juniors who might get a first team game. Some of these 29 are injured and some will be loaned out soon. Quite a few less than 50 at any rate.

Best get him a booster seat so he can watch from the stands.

Sad news

Welcome to the forum!

Which knee ligament? And what's the damage?

40 shirts of Red and White.

Good questions fellas. needs PM ing tofind out.

Had a quick check from various trusted sources boo, not a sausage about Scoog's injury. Not suggesting it's untrue, but if the OP revealed this I'm scratching my head as to where this was first revealed. As you suggested, will PM asking the same question.

I know he got a knee injury, but he walked off and he'd run around a fair bit after his knock.

Could be medial or lateral strains and it would be a matter of weeks and perhaps more likely from a tackle. Speculating of course, but didn't see him struggling like you'd expect from a rupture or torn acl or even pcl

So hopefully it's not too bad

Eh up scoogs.

Your a top lad. and good player. cant fault yer effort. youll turn it around.

In the mean time whilst your injured i think you should take a job as an extra as david platt on corra.

see ya..

On Tuesday night, it was impossible to tell the extent of the damage caused. Since then, the relevant tests and scans have shown an opened knee joint and a slight rupture of the knee ligaments!

The injury is certainly worse than first feared and the recovery process for an injury such as this will be around the three months mark.
