we had a bid in for him. Davies, Coutts and Freeman in summer. COG.

I'm not criticising the bloke, I just can't remember another manager we've had who has been chasing players and missed out at the last minute. Players we all know about.

Personally, I'm very happy with Done. Just need a big-un to come in on loan upfront now.

And maybe bigger facilities to accommodate everyone!

Can;t believe it, told my little un in October, that we could do with Matty Done from Rochdale.

IMO Terrific signing. he's quick, willing to take players on, and he's given a number of the leading sides major problems.

Not just a scorer but also creates a lot of goals too.

With the return of Brayford, the emergence of youngsters like Reed and Kennedy, Murphy and Flynny hitting form and now Matty Done, we've suddenly got options all over the pitch.

Surprised that Rochdale have let him go. but hey ho.

I personally don't care what position you name for him. He can score goals from left,right and centre and is strong enough to hold the ball up for others and withstand physical challenges. Is that just what we needed/wanted?

Done has scored goals at this level, looks to have something about him, and is prepared to take a shot if the chance is there. For what can't be a huge amount we may have unearthed a decent player, so let's get behind the guy, he could turn out to be someone who makes the difference for us.
