look at their boards......all slagging slade about the imminent departure of Brayford and to a lesser extent LeFondre........God the best signing for a fair few years looks to be very, very close.

Let us hope that this week ,will be a very good memorable week , in all things blades. The lift for the club and fans , will be something that money actually cannot buy.

if he signs....it will show that some players just want to be happy when they play and not just follow the money (although I'm sure the beard will get decent wages from us).
Without getting carried away he will galvanise our season.

How would it work wages wise?

I heard reliably that he went from £6k to £20k when he went to Cardiff, why would he drop substantially to play for us? He might do that for the clayheads, but not just for us because we grew beards, surely?

Can't see this happening I'm afraid
just goes against the way the club have been doing their business since the new blood came on board and it also goes against the fact that footballers are mercenary who don't give a shit about the fans nay about the amount of cash they can accumulate

It's feasible i guess that the prince might pay some of his wages, as the SCMP allows for a 'sugar daddy' in league one. Not so in the championship which operates under FFP, we'd have to substantially grow turnover in order for us to pay his wages.

Brilliant if true.

We get annoyed when teams two leagues above us steal our players. Imagine if a quality player voluntarily left your club to go to the division below. No wonder they're pissed off.

Like the bloke who said "can't understand why he would rather live in Sheffield than The Vale/Cardiff" well let me answer that for you taffy.
1) It's Sheffield.
2) It's not in fuckin Wales.

Thank you

That needs more than the one like that I can give

Cardiff City , like Portsmouth to some extent shows that foreign investment and changing managers does not work and is a recipe for disaster .

At least we are heading in the right direction ,when in 2015 / 16 a number of clubs will actually be on free fall . SWFC could be one of them next season. Be careful what we wish for.

He's loved here and knows that over time he can look back and be seen as a bit of a legend here, whereas at Cardiff he will just be viewed as another player. I reckon that is what swings it for him should the deal go through.

Do signing on fees count towards FFP?

Massive signing on fee, £5k wage?

You hear it from a lot of players that BDTBL is special. Kitson was on instagram talking to Creswell about us. They both spoke very highly of us and were genuinely upset that they were no longer here.

Some Australian relatives of ours recently came over to visit the UK, and started their missionary work in Wales - it was closed.

I feel sorry for you Judge if you think ALL footballers are mercenaries. I think I'd give up following it if that were the case. Loyalty and devotion might not be in rich supply but I live for the special moments as that's what fuels it.

I hope not mate ,let's see
ma be not all players but certainly all players agents ,advisors ,hangers on

If brayford signs for us it will be because we have met his financial stipulations if we don't he will go elsewhere

Hope I'm wrong

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he'll want more than his fair share of the wage-budget, but the ONLY reason we even have a chance to talk to him is because of our mutual love-in. And for the record, I don't think he'll go elsewhere but The Lane until his Cardiff spell has run its course.
