Thought they were better than that....apparently not, the twats. Just like every other "big" London club then.....

Mixed bag there. We were poor but Sheff U played well. In the end I was happy with any sort of win.

'Drips, weapons and troglodytes'

Quote of the millenium :D

Mendonca - you have to appeciate those are the views of armchair fan many of whom have never been near WHL.

I thought there were plenty of sensible comments there as well.

Buggered if I'm gonna be considered more of a pikey than that lot up in S6 though!...

also comparison of the grounds proves their armchair-osity... 25 years out of date... BDTBL not perfect but not held together by choddy and ear-wax like the rust-bucket up at Owlerton... and the Lane generates a better atmosphere, better view, better match day experience generally.

Sheff U played well and it will be a different game at Sheffield. Hope Blades beat them, we took the game to them.

Crowd sounded good? What end were they sat in?
Overall probably a fair mixture of opinions. The negative ones sound bitter more than anything

Sound is a strange one at WHL I was in 41 and thought our lot were decent but obviously not as good as the away support. Still was OK from my seat.
Next week should be a different kettle of fish.

With BL upper tier tickets you'll be on one of the best away-ends in the country when there's a big following.... it creates an awful lot of noise...
but it's more than matched by the rest of the ground - with 3 corners filled in now, the Lane is something special, atmosphere-wise especially night games. Looking forward to it, we don't get the intensity so often in the shit divisions anymore.

Yeah some of those comments hit a raw nerve, especially the comments about Sheff Wendy and our ground. Some of your fans can't have been to Hillsborough lately !

Well we have all to play for. I enjoy the banter that the Spurs guys have brought on here and the information they gave for our travelling fans
Enjoy your trip to the frozen North Spurs. Have a safe journey, and should idiots denigrate your team, rather than enter into discussion, put it down to the minority of idiots that every board has Thanks for your input

The one that says he didn't hear our fans all game. Presumably because he was at home watching celebrity big brother orhe is deaf.

What a set of toss pots.

“Nigel Clough looks like the type of guy who is a real cunt to his wife and shouts at her in public.”

Hahahahahah! Oh, bloody hell! That is priceless! Fucking hell I can't stop laughing at that cunt.

His social worker would say that he is more tho be pitied for that comment. No pity from me, I pissed myself at the repartee

A Couple of spuds saying we didnt have a shot on target
How many did they have apart from the pen that was handed to them on a plate a MAASIVE one more than we did

Worse than Woolwich? OK if you say so.

Yes, worse than them.

Don't get me wrong, it pains me to say it. I grew up in Enfield. I was at school with Erik Throsvedt's daughter and played against Ossie Ardiles kid. My mums mate did Ossie and Gary Mabbut's ironing. I got my hair cut at the same place as Pat Jennings. The first two or three matches I ever went to were at White Hart Lane. I much prefer you lot to Arsenal.

But, for whatever its worth, your mob were mince tonight.
