A replacement for Hulse

I think we need a replacement for Hulse

If Warnock has to loan someone in till the end of the season so be it

He might have to pay big money for it but if it keeps us up it will be worth it

Going with Nade and Stead I can't see them scoring the goals we need.

Without a new face or Luton Shelton Proving to be an instant hit, it could be very close at the end and even going to the final game.


My son collects old sheffield united match tickets and pin badges and old snooker programmes

If anyone has any old tickets, pin badges and old snooker programmes that they don't want I would be grateful for them

Hulse will be indeed hard to replace from within.......Let's hope Stead sees it as a great opportunity for his career and does the business.

I can't see anyone wanting to loan us someone good enough to take over to be honest.

Who is a realistic possibility though? Someone from abroad?

Realistically I think warnock will remember last season when he bought in the Horse and Panicbuyi and what it did for team spirit and how we nearly threw it away.

I think we might just tough it out and bite our nails till the end.

If we go to Charlton and win and win another out of the remaining games all the rest is meaningless

Id try getting Webber back in to it a bit too.

For saturday id start with Stead and Shelton(scored for Jamaica)

I should think Bolton would be slightly tougher competition.

I want him to be fantastic... but people are making him out to be the next best thing for the Blades even when NW has said he might not be making much of an impact this season.
 
No we can't loan anyone at all.

The only exception would maybe be a goalkeeper if we got loads of injuries in net.

Suppose we look at free agents though..... Zidane isn't tied to a club :D

i have been critical of webber and he was dire but i have a feeling if we played him for rest of season he would get some great goals and become a fans favourite again!

problem is with these two neither I don't think stead can play the hulse role

Nade is closest to Hulse we have but i'm not sure he is good enough

We will have to wait and see

Bless him... he got the goals that got us to where we are now :)

He's having trouble finding the back of the net for Brentford though... no goals and one booking in ten appearances. It's obvious he didn't want to move for the football though, he just wanted to get back down south.

Hear hear Nifty! He was one of the reasons we got here and it's such a shame he didn't get one last chance thanks to the niggling injuries he had, it doesn't feel the same without him.

Get Brian Deane out of retirement, or even better bring Peschisolido back. :D
 
David Heally would have done a job but his value has just doubled shame
 
David Healy would be a decent signing for us surprised we havnt already got him.

NO NO NO NO. David has only ever done it on the international stage, his consistency in the league has been crap. Even when he was supposed to be a star at PNE

Ah, but with Keefy G knowing how to play a ball into him... would we see the international Healy rather than the Leeds United Healy?
 
Healy at the moment is playing in a shambles of a L**ds team.

I think if we were to get him we would see a totally different player.
 
Even if he rots in the reserves, it'd be more fun for us folk working in Leeds!!

Not that I'd like to see any player "rot in the reserves" as I unceremoniously blurted out of course.

But he was playing in a decent leeds side last season, and still failed. Granted a lot of games he was on the wing, but thats not the point.

Healy was used often as a sub as most of the season Leeds had Blake and Hulse up front for them.
