Brayford

Have we ever had a player who was with us for such a short time get so much respect from our fans?

No . Thats the reason for the fans and the club itself , SUFC have to do everything physically possible to sign him., One player alone sometimes cannot make a massive impact , but his presence on the field , has a conduit between each individual fan , and the player himself . What Brayford does in a red and white shirt , is what we all have , at one time , dreamed of doing ourselves . Thats respect and a cult figure , which both club and fans need for the promotion push.

Liking Bean there!

If we did sign Johnny I think I'd explode.

This guy was highly thought of, does this class as "playing for us?"

not sure of his source though

I'd like us to sign Brayford for his beard value, but i'm not sure he is the answer to the problem because like the rest of us on here I cant really identify what is the the root cause of the problem.
Last month O Grady was the answer and 2 up front , he came and went and while he was on the pitch impressed but didn't win us many points.
I think Murphy is our best player, was disappopinted he got rested and we score three against a Premiership team
Harris has a nightmare at Port Vale and is a star the following week.
Do you play Reed and Cuvelier? or Baxter and Scougall.
Keep Mc Nulty in a one up front formation.

I don't know whether United need a shit a haircut or a beard to for us to win something this year. I really don't.

Will I be really disappointed if we don't sign someone in the JTW?

It's clear The Beard is bored of Cardiff and wants to play for a proper club but can we really afford him in this league and can he afford to drop the wedge he is getting at the red birds?

Maybe if we pay to have his beard looked after he might join us?

I posted about JB when he left us saying what an amazing guy he is, how he just about galvanised the whole club with his personality.

An example of how brilliant this guy is.
My mates teenage lad had got the news that his cancer had returned and he needed a second round of chemo, his hugely promising Rugby career fecked again and all the attendant heartbreak that brought. The club arranged for him to meet his hero at his last match for us.
John told my mate that he wanted to keep in touch and to let his know how he is going on.
At the time I thought this was just polite BS.

However, only a couple of weeks ago the lad gets a PM tweet from the Beard asking how he is now.
As you can imagine he was totally made up with that.

Once a Blade always a Blade!

This is what legends are made of.
Top top guy.

NB the lads is absolutely grand now, and playing Rugby :)

Seeing the pics of him at Loftus road dares me to dream, he just might be coming home.

Davie Blade thats a great story and great to hear that your mate is ok too!

If what I heard the other day is correct we'll at least be making efforts to bring him back which would be fantastic as you say! Here's to a great January!

Imagine the reception he'll get if he does come back!

Malone's a lefty - so does that really help them to release The Beard?
Seems a stretch of the logic to think so?

At least I can get my resplendent S24SU Beard Tee out again if he does :)
Last worn at the FA Cup SF (still no under arm sweat stains Swizzers ;))

We all know we need another striker but Brayford could be our inspirational leader on the pitch driving us forward, our own Gerrard?

Lane Ender we have to believe in something , and if he does , he would be the messiah of BDTBL. .Miracles do happen mate , and it can come true if the board are willing splash the cash . Every player has a price . Game Changing investment ,i think someone called it at the lane.
