Not bothered he's gone back but why no official word until now - not like Brighton is round the corner is it - maybe we signing Messi lol

Surprised he has made it out of Bramall Lane/Sheffield what with the constant posts about the slippy pavements/treacherous conditions round the ground and what is not open/open. Maybe they will stick it on the official site next week. ;)

United's PR/Communication is embarrassing at the best of the time.....the Evans debacle recently.... but I like others am less concerned it now being announced but more concerned that we had him for like 2 or 3 games and then bang he's gone.

I am not surprised he has not gone back. The other lad Mackail Smith went back the other week too. New/Caretaker manager and all that. He was looking the part too. He will go back there and probably have a new lease of life and I doubt we will see him again.

Never mind we have still got Porter and Higdon.

It's on the official site now. 19.30pm. So technically they told us around the time the teams went in. Owe them an apology! ;)

He's just been offered a contract extension

One in one out...we're recalling Diego!

UTB!

Someone said he'd moved back up north,so i would imagine he'd want to get back as soon as possible.

And us lot must wonder why he does nowt about it cash wise
Because he realised he's dropped a bollock and he wants out but like Mcabe he's trapped so now we've got two leaches bleeding us.
Great isn't it

Higdon's moment has come, he's been preparing over xmas for it...

OGrady is getting incrementally better with every post made on here.

Had we bought him in the summer with real money then this wouldn't have been an issue. But this is further proof if any were needed that the game changing investment appears to not exist.

We're going to have to get out of this division with the kids and a few fluke signings that come good there's no big money signings coming here.

It's known as "Kabba's Law". The longer a player is out of the team, the better he gets.

Why would he come to the Blades when he had the chance to stay in the Championship hes probably on considerably more wages than we can offer in comparison to Brighton

Well he came a month back so he can't have been that much against it.

Probably because he wasnt getting any games down there when the likliehood was that when he chose to go to Brighton
he thought would be playing a lot more regularly a bit like our young centre half when he chose to go to Hull

Apparently COG didn't want to move down south at the start of the season and would have preferred to come to us.Only Marvin Gaye talk though;)

Our changing room can't be a happy place at present, maybe he's not as keen on us as he might have been before he came to us.

Whoever gets the Brighton job will have the final say.

Yes it follows on that our changing room must be a very unhappy place because a loan player has been recalled to his parent club due to a change in manager and apparent injury crisis.

Given we've only picked up 7 points in the last 8 league games and won 1 league game in 2 months I'd expect there to be an element of unhappiness.

Not that this has much to do with O'Grady returning to Brighton.

If the players were not unhappy , then we would have serious problems.

GOG going back to Brighton is football , he was a loan player .

The players are being paid good money as the manager is , and need to be unhappy , us fans have to pay for the privilege. Performances have not been good enough .

The situation we are in will sort the men out from the boys on the playing staff . Mr Clough has to now show is managerial qualities to sort the issue out.

Last seasons performance has gone , its what Mr Clough and the players do now that matters . The honeymoon period is over.

Truth is due to cup performances the board and most on here will forgive him anything even though we are back to the football days of Weir and sitting in the bottom 4 of the form league.

All piggys are pissing themselves. Keep texting saying we're fucked now he's gone back.

How is that possible? We were fucked before he came. Then he got injured, scored 1 goal and went back.

why do you have to make mischief ?. there will be frustration in the dressing room yes! due to our league form but ther,s no need to make a mountain out of a mole hill stay positive !.

Even in the short time he was here, he became our undisputed first choice Centre Forward. Of course him going back is a big blow and it is disingenuous to suggest otherwise.

It was a serious comment. In the past month C O'G will have learned a lot about Clough and United. If his new manager wants him to stay the lad might be relieved. He's not contracted to us and may not fancy the likelihood of 1.5 seasons in league 1 especially with the home crowd turning by the week.

Not mischief but realism and we need to be prepared for it. What's plan B?
