..they always bulk up a bit when preggers..

Still think you'd see the the best of him behind two front men

He is a genuine Championship quality

Agree. Baxter's 'zone' is if you draw a triangle from points halfway in from each touchline on the halfway line, to the penalty spot. That is where attacking midfielders ply their trade. They receive the ball from the other midfielders and bring in the wingers or feed the forwards to feet and pop up to get the second ball or crack it from outside the box.

Which is what Baxter does best.

He was actually better when we went down to 10 men ,as though it dawned on him that he had to take responsibility. He was up front on his own but his hold up play and supply to the wingers and Scougall was excellent.
Mceveley was brilliant.

Pleasing to see praise for a player I know you are not a fan of.

Could not get today, wife in hospital so had little un but great win.

Baxter has been rotten at times this season but also done well at others and been one of real main threats.

He is overweight and does not have a fixed position but does have some talents. I think playing off a central striker with pace and his talents could some to the fore.

You obviously enjoyed that sitters - now stay OFF the fucking shoutbox and get to more games as you said you would.

Not sure where it might happen but I see another "Leicester" game coming some time this season................not to be missed wherever it happens.

I would be a fan if he put as much effort in as he did today. The pre second half huddle must have done the trick.

Harris 7/8
Mceveley 9/9 MOM
Macarthy 7/4

Superb today. Well done José. P.S. You're not overweight

(Big marks to Mcevely too who was outstanding...what a freebie he was).

Still think my preferred line up would be him, Scougs, and Murphy behind a mobile forward.
Wallace and ANother (I like Reed as I'd play Basham at centrehalf). Lying deeper giving protection when needed and our width coming from our fullbacks.

most people I know who went praise Basham 2 said he was their mom , yet you give him 4 ?
shows how opinions differ
I gave him 4 for his first half in midfield but a 9 for his second half at centre half where he is a far better player.

Jose Baxter the modern Glynn Hodges without the violent intent! Quality player, give him the ball to feet and he'll unlock the door. Big Bash played well at centre half, not so impressive when in midfield.

Must say I didn't think there was much difference between today's team performance and that v Barnsley. One ended a loss and we were sh!te, the other a win and we were brilliant.
