The ref made a very poor decision and made many more

Margreitter's foul was a red card offence for sure after Murphy had left him for dead but I'd say the ref otherwise did OK and Chesterfield were certainly the better side. United had a golden chance to take advantage of the young lad coming on to play in goal after Tommy Lee was sent off but failed to take advantage till it was too late. Jamal made a big difference but the Blades' midfield men were outplayed by the combination of Johnson, Morsy, Ryan and Roberts, plus O'Shea before he took one for the team. Jimmy Ryan is everything a playmaker should be; he rarely wasted a pass and scored a belting goal.

Jones' absurd theatricals after Higdon took him out were pretty shoddy but it was a crude foul regardless, and I thought the ref took revenge on Jones by booking him later when he hadn't done anything wrong, as well as giving the free kick from which Collins scored, but 3-3 would have been a travesty to be fair. Chesterfield look good enough for the play-offs with such a strong squad to choose from, whereas the Blades, in all honesty, currently don't.
"Blades midfield men were outplayed by the combination of Johnson, morsy,Ryan and Roberts". WHO?, Says it all really.

Were you? We were poor, they were better.

That's correct but Silent Blade is too. Had Margreitter been sent off as he should it would have been a completely different game.

It was fairly even to that point, and we collapsed once he wasn't sent off. It's unacceptable for us to perform like we did seemingly due to a refereeing decision, you just have to live with it as a team and use it to spur you on rather than let your heads drop like we did.

Gareth Roberts always does well against us to be fair. That Johnson is a cracking young player, he played against us for Villa in the Youth Cup a few years ago and you could tell he was a cut above for them. He's got a good career ahead of him.

Yes and we were the better team until they scored. The ref made a big error in giving just a yellow to that defender. After that the ref frustrated us with his further poor decisions (apart from Higdon's sending off) and then Chesterfield took advantage of this

yes i was there too silent and agree with your comments, but our slow build up is playing into the oppositions hands we have to be sharper alround.a lot is said about this being a poor league but all teams are fit athletic and organised it has improved in recent years due to foreign players coming here which means plenty of young english players dropping into league one and two and picked up on the cheap they drop down with a view to win a return to the top two leagues baxter and wallace are two good examples there are plenty more and they have contributed enormously to this leagues improvement we lack legs in vital
areas and i am surprised cloughy hasnt improved the running power of our squad for me that is our main weakness are you
listening nigel!!.
