Typical Blades ,lets find as many negatives as we can , before hes even got to the training ground.
So from 2009 to date he has played at a higher level than where SUFC find themselves and that's bad... Why?
Is it really negative to highlight concern over someone coming in (and he may not be of course) against an in form striker who, through no fault of his own, may not be quite match fit? I've no problem with a strong, young defender coming in, particularly one who has generally played above our level (Huddersfield, Cardiff) and he could well be exactly what we need - but as I'm going to be surrounded by Chessies on Saturday, I'd be happier if we were certain that the players there will be ready.
cousinAny relation to Stevie? - if so, we might get a few more penalties
Who says he's a definite starter on Saturday if he joins?
If it is an initial one month loan we can look to extend it through January and possibly sign the player if it's an option. We have 8 games coming up in the next month and we are short at centre half, so it makes sense to have one brought in for that period with the possibility of an extension if he fits the bill.
Can't help thinking, why only 1 month, when the rationale for waiting this long into the loan window was to secure the services of a player or two over the 93 day period that would cross over into the JTW

Last week he apparently scored from his own half in an U21 match.
