We were saying the same about Tangy in the pub. A lot better in a wide right hand position.

I’m a big fan of Seriki but he was poor defensively last night. Maybe still getting his fitness back.Tanganga is a better player with Seriki at the side of him. Unfortunately Choudhury is not a right back…Japh and Hamza together equates to a double bomb scare on the right side of our defence.
Ex-Boarding School Boy a Millwall fan Silent Blade ?? I am intrigued as to this persons make up - figurativley speaking of course..!Was talking to a Millwall fan at my school reunion on Saturday. He asked how Tanganga is doing. I said he is decent but there are quite a lot of Blades fans who use him as the scapegoat. The Millwall fan said that the Millwall fans liked him.
It was the husband of Karen who was in my year from 1973 to 1979 although Karen stayed a further year for her A levels. She had no interest in football until she met him.Ex-Boarding School Boy a Millwall fan Silent Blade ?? I am intrigued as to this persons make up - figurativley speaking of course..!
3 at the back against Wolves was easily the best defensive display this season. But sadly Wilder is fixated on having wingers in the team. There's a reason Tanganga has never broken through to the top of the championship or the premier league. Positionally he's all over the place and he's shocking with the ball at his feet. Great at ground duels which you'd think would suit him out at RB but he just becomes a very expensive version of Gilchrist.
I'd have him on the right of a three but I really don't like him in a 2. But then again I think having a Kitching - McGuinness - Tanganga back 3 with Seriki and Burrows providing the width rather than BBD/Chong is the way forward, but that would probably make me a Playstation Manager.
We’re basically screwed until (a) someone invests serious money and (b) the person spending it knows what they’re doing. We need a Souttar type player at CB. Tanganga is great at getting blocks in but that is mainly down to him having to recover ground as hes out of position. His passing is an accident waiting to happen as every game hes guilty of gifting the ball to the opposition in a dangerous area.
Hes a much better CB alongside an aerially dominant partner as he was with Cooper at the Wall. Pne's second goal was a prime example of him being out of position when the oppo forward wins the ball in the air and heads it forward He didn't know whether to stick or twist and left a two on one as a result. Mcg would seem to be the perfect partner but they both look decidely worse when playing together as both goals conceded last night showed. Mcg goes walkabout in the area too often losing his man. Tanganga has a good leap on him but is weak at dealing with crosses into the box, very JLT like.
We have to hope the partnership with Kitching blossoms as hes a very much a one game good one game bad player which is not conducive to building a solid defence.
If that's the case regarding hamza and having to cover him surely that's his right as captain to mention to wilder maybe he as maybe he ant.I really don't think he is that good at all. Defending at times can be questionable. He's better at RB as he can show players down the line and use his pace to his benefit and poke the ball away.
He can rarely win a header with anybody over 6ft. Most of the time he's caught flat footed and side on. Fair enough this could be because Hamza is atrocious at RB so in his mind, he has to cover him as well as playing his normal game.
