Ayew was the difference. He showed for the ball and got involved in the game. He gave the midfielders an option. Cannon does not do that. He really is fucking useless isnt't he. I mean, put me at knocking on 70 in and around the box and every now and again the ball will fall to me and ill blast it in. When does Wilder finally admit that he is crap and get him moved on. That was one of his strengths in the early days of leading us.............. he signed some decent players but also his fair share of duds. However, he quickly moved the duds on and replaced them with better players - or at least, players that suited our system of playing.

Love Romelle, when he’s either on the ball or pressing the opposing defence. But from sitting up in the BL corner I did think his positioning when Burrows had the ball could be a little bit better. It’s not a biggie, but I think by always standing on the touchline he seems to stifle Harrison’s runs and creates a bit of a dead end for the wing back. I’m sure they’ll work it out between them and have us all salivating, but I just felt 2 or 3 moves needlessly ended up back in defence because of this.

You can always tell the difference when a player who is comfortable in possession comes into this side.

Should just swap Donovan and Chong. Chong is much more comfortable on the left, Donovan is good on either side.
