Are you seriously saying that being 'well informed' about your team, is on some kind of parity with actually watching them play?

I have heard some absolute shite justifying why it's okay not to go to games, but if you atre actually saying that a couple of 'tough hours' on social media, is the same as watching players make runs, close down, chase, shadow and do all the stuff that the camera can't see, is 'ok', then I'm not sure that football is really for you.
We should set up a league table of all the members of this forum to see who is the Bigger Blade. It’s obviously a quantifiable metric.

I don’t mean any disrespect here ISC because I generally agree with a lot of your posts, but some of the people who go to games are, to put it politely, absolute morons.

There’s some very respected posters on this forum who don’t attend games for a variety of reasons.

So yes, I would say that being well informed about your team, assuming that someone actually watches the games on TV, is on parity with attending the game in person.

Great point. We could also have a cup competition for talking shite. From time to time to time the social media warriors might knock out people who actually care.

Load of bollix.

I can;t disagree with your first line at all. Morons? Yep, go on, I'll agree with that.

My issue is with a poster who proudly states that 'a couple of hours' showing an interest on the internet, is somehow comparable with attending.
I love Porn Hub as much as the next man, but I certainly don't think that wanking myself off for 16 hors a day, makes me the perfect lover.

No, the “couple of hours” comment was regarding game time. Not “couple of hours” spent online.

So are you saying that unitedites on low incomes and families to support and have to pick and choose are somehow less of a Blade?
No I haven't said that. I specifically said people who choose not to go when we're rubbish and start again when we're decent.
It’s really not
It really is. My opinion as someone who barely watches man utd does not have the same value as a man utd season ticket holder of 50 years. This is so clearly true.

It’s only true that it’s your opinion. Your opinion is worth as much as the next person’s.

I wonder if when he does decide to start Donovan, he'll get as many chances to stay in the team as BBD and Chong do? My guess is not, and if he's not done anything in 60 minutes or has a quiet game, he'll be back on the bench again for the next few games. Seems like some players only get 1 chance to make an impact when given the chance, whereas others can do as they please and will get picked regardless.

Everyone's opinion is as valid as the person reading it wants to make it. If people want to decide whether they agree with something based on the person who said it, I feel sorry for them. It's a sad way to live your life

Only true blades simply stop going when we're shit/average. Act smug about it, then resume going when we're doing well.
How do you imagine clubs make progress and grow their support ?
They don't do it by spunking away £ half a billion and ending up with shit football

Wilder's words post match: "If I'd have left Chongy out people would be asking why, if I'd have left Ben out people would be asking why."

🤦‍♂️
So basically he's saying that his attacking options are so good that there's no room for Donovan in the starting XI. Doesn't reflect well on Wilder considering the actual performances, does it?

The way he got irked pre and post match about being asked about Donovan is what's weird.

Like I said already I won't be surprised if we get a call from Brentford in January asking for him back.

He despises it when the vadt majority of fans think he's wrong. He'll be fuming that he's now backed into a corner on Donovan.

He probably shouldn't start every match, he's a kid and he still needs managing. But that's fuck all to do with the other players we have
