Agree entirely. After losing our last ounce of creativity, we should be replacing it with * checks notes * a big lump of a defender who has a questionable injury record and would suck up every penny of the budget.

Apologies for the sarcasm, but I want us to go nowhere near HS today. If we get Kitching that will be ample and we should be getting a couple for the top end of the pitch.

depends if mcguinness is sold today and if he is i think theres a chance both souttar and kitching will come in but i do agree with you we also need a left winger and striker to come in if cannon is also sold

If it's 3 at the back, I think MM is fine for the middle as he has cover from either side. We should be then looking at someone like Webster as backup along with Baptiste.

maybe because weve only 3 centre backs on the books a raw young kid one that isnt championship standard and tanganga we need at least one to come in which looks like kitching but if mcguinness is sold we will need 2 yes we need attacking options thats a gimme but whats the point scoring 4 if we concede 5 ?

Maybe don't sell McGuinness, who's been our best CB? Maybe don't play one of our CBs at RB when Doherty is right there? Maybe try and get some use out of Nils instead of just letting him rot?

Not yet, I did the usual putting 2+2=5 sum that most of the 14y/o Twitter fan base maths after seeing Taylor Bellis getting sold to Villa and the potential knock-on effect, etc. Not sure why I thought WH, maybe Saints I was actually thinking. Note, I'm not a 14y/o fan base, instead sadly a veteran of times like these.
