Tennis Balls

Of all the owners we’ve had (and it’s a motley crew), these are the ones that depress me the most. They have absolutely zero interest in football. They have proved themselves to be shameless crooks (a Blades owner tradition) and they are utterly invisible / untouchable to the fans.
Much as I would love to protest at the ground, I know that it would be completely wasted effort because these guys would simply not give a stuff even if 25,000 were chanting for them to get out of our club.
We are completely stuck with an ownership that see us as nothing more than a figure on a spreadsheet.
The EFL allowed them in but could well punish the club for their actions and the new government watchdog will speak a few platitudes to the fans but do nothing to prevent further damage to us and any other club unfortunate enough to have been taken over by similar “business men”.
After my 50 plus years of enduring pretty pathetic ownership, I think we’ve hit an all time low.

I dont want us to do what Wendy did and act like it’s all okay, to save face. It’s not.

Let’s be proactive rather than reactive, because regarding the latter it’d be action after the horse has well and truly bolted. Currently, It’s out it’s stables, get the twat back in. ASAP.

Ps - if we sign a few I’ll reconsider.

I think fans tonight need to be focused on backing what is left of our squad to get three points.

Once threw a tennis ball on the pitch , Monty chased it .

I remember a mate if mine describing David Cotterill's attempts at defending as akin to when you pretend to throw a ball for a dog, but don't.

Always stuck with me.

Gary Sinclair asking the fans to stay in the ground after the match and then we parade 4 galacticos but most of the spectators have gone home!

It’ll be a 1-0 defeat tonight, devoid of creativity, players going through the motions whilst a disciplined Bolton side pick us off on the break. The ground will be 50% full at 80 minutes and the full time whistle will be greeted by a few boos and murmurs of discontent.

The idiots that own us have presided over 2 years of regression and undone 10 years of excellent work

People understandably will be disgruntled and rightly so

Having ploughed through this earlier today, I can't understand the motivation of foreigners (who appear to have little interest in the club) to buy a club who have zero chance of making it to the top 6:

If you've got half an hour or so to plow through this I recommend it. It gives the detail and background to a lot of what we old(er) timers see as the problems with the modern game, the arguments that get a bit lost for most of us as the number of ales we sip after a match increases. It paints the background for the utter tedium of the endless "big 6" bollocks in all levels of punditry and media that bores us to death. It also clarifies once again what astonishing times we as Blades fans are living through and the sheer scale of the achievement that CWAK and co are achieving, there is no real comparison for example between what Clough and Taylor were able to achieve with Forest, magnificent as it was, with what would be required to achieve anything similar today and, to be objective, the reverse of this why despite the undoubted passion and commitment most Wendy fans have for their club, their situation is so desperate.
The sooner we get rid of them the better - but support the team in doing so.

Any protest or venting needs to be done in a way that supports the players and the staff so they can still go out and compete and try and win games.

Off the top of my head I can only think of defacing American flags with pro Blades slogans such as (yes, I asked AI for these):

"Sydie Peck in control, state-side chancers can fcuk off home!"

Patrick Bamford magician with the ball, corporate suits can get out, one and all!"

"Arblaster running the show, American owners time to go!"

Then we sing all our normal songs, louder and prouder than ever before but with a low part harmony providing a "fcuk off Yanks" as a sort of rhythmic beat box effect.
