How pleased about Hamza?
- free transfer (think he said?), experiece, attitude, never seen a happier player come thru the door, a winner, 2 promotions out this div, arguably best player in PO final - him and Ben bolster sqaud
Players you know can do it better than gambling?
- yeah talked about it last week, been a decline in PL loans last few years. Squad seen good players go but also come in
Why 1 year deal?
- hoping it'll turn out to be 3-4 yrs
Anything else b4 deadline?
- still a centre half short, working on that, fishing in a small pond
O'Hare latest?
- there has been a bid from Wrexham, not surprised, good player, dont personally want him to go
Other players leaving/ going out on loan - Marsh, Curtis, Grbic?
- Louis and Sam need 1st team football (didnt mention Grbic)
Seriki/Burrows how long out for?
- keeping that close, not med/long term but no timescale
Other injures post Cardiff?
- yeah we're ok, subs were tactical, weren't at our best but still a result, tricky 3 games, and some travelling take it's toll a bit

- beat Preston, drew QPR, talked about energy that comes from promotion, big club good to see back, big away following probs

- long answer ... like talking to players, be nice to get it done early but u know it's coming and have to deal with it.
Is it a test of nerves, not just grabbing any available?
- felt like Villa were bugging our phones a few years ago and then could afford to pay more, bit like Wrexham can now

- lot of people invlolved, I'm just one, but can be last min with outs and ins
how important is Bettis relationship?
- Yes very, on same page, don't allus agree, I have full faith in my coaching staff as well
Presume Callum will stay professional now?
- he's been first class all way thru
Lots of experience now must be pleased with that side of it
- yes, don't want stock up on serial failures/relegations on CV
Oli McB mentioned naivety last time went up might have been a factor?
Yeh, can get scarred by it but we have got some good players
