Anybody reckon we can get Webster on a free, then hold out for Souttar late on when they're desperate for less than £5m ?

are we sure hes the answer?
look at this ....
Maybe they can - but actually I think they are prepared to gamble & risk a 6 pt deduction by breaching SCR. They probably think they can go up regardless of a point deduction! The main issue is that there owners are batshit crazy!!! Having said all that Martin will be sacked after a couple more matches if their bad start continues.I think Leicester issue hasn’t changed, can they afford to carry the wages over the season
The fact they have started slowly might help them panic, I think it’s clear now they aren’t getting 10r likely even 5 for him
I think they've shot themselves in the foot. He's not had the best start to the season with Leicester and he doesn't suit Russell's style. They should have negotiated with us, Wrexham and whoever else was in for him at the time and moved him on.Anybody reckon we can get Webster on a free, then hold out for Souttar late on when they're desperate for less than £5m ?
The last CB we signed for £2.5m from Scandanavia hasn't kicked a ball for us in over a yearWhy don’t we guzump him and pocket £7.5m?

McGuinness has so many obvious flaws. He is not the answer to our CB problem, he is our CB problem.
Baptiste was much more composed and RND played well. McG is too slow in his head and with his feet. A liability that will be exposed horribly against any side with a bit of pace and nous.
The ballover the topis McGuinness's main weakness.
hes not good … he’s an adequate sub if we are sitting in… end of discussionI think this one is dead. McGuinness looks good for me, Baptiste looked assured tonight. Webster worries me for the injuries, but a free CB would be my preferred option to come in as competition.
Sorry but he's played against teams who have hardly laid a glove on us, and he still looks like a naffing player who is playing above his naffing level against poor ordinary teamsI think this one is dead. But it's also any CB's main worry. The ball over the top is McGuinness's main weakness.
I agree but where does that leave Donovan and any other wingers were trying to sign, that's the only issue.Looking at Baptiste, I’d love to see us go to a 3 … with Tanganga and Baptiste either side of a big, dominating player. A fit Webster or Souttar would be great but I think McGuinness is also ideal in that system…. We’d have the right combination of aerial dominance and mobility. Webster would give us the added bonus of top level experience and superior ball-carrying/passing too.
Yep … it’s a tough one. Donovan was probably MoM last night but I think he could play as part of a 3 up top… ideally him and O Hare playing off Bamford.I agree but where does that leave Donovan and any other wingers were trying to sign, that's the only issue.
