Don't all say "Rugby Union" or "Wednesday" at once.
Sheffield Rugby club. Finished champions last season and lost just two games (one of which i attended, hence the defeat).
This season they will be in the highest league in their history.
Seemingly not missing my prowess that i demonstrated for the fourth team (would have been the fifth team if they'd had one) back in the late 70's....

Baaarnsley, they were my first club as dad supported them and introduced me honest football players with the fantastic smell of embrocation coming from the tunnel. The Blades continually coming out with character deformation and bad choices is really leaving a bad taste in my mouth at present.

Cricket. Said earlier knock S stand down, returf its area and car park, build a new old style pavilion. This to appease the all powerful cricket Gods who may then lift the Curse.
Just remember, the little we have ever won throughout history was when cricket was played...

Rangers.

(yeah, yeah, "Scottish pigs", grew up watching that great 9 in a row team so allus liked them.

Not to mention all the Blades connections- Fleck, Beattie etc.)

Think I'd pack football in altogether, not interested in it unless it's Blades related anyway, this would be the final nail. If I really had to pick another team, I'd probably go with Rotherham United.

How many times have the club been through similar situations to this? To my knowledge and in my lifetime, first under Brearley/Hashimi, then Woodhouse walks off with £700,000 of the clubs money. Eventually Brearley after years of fans unrest I.e BIFA the club is sold to Mike McDonald who started well but then through Carles green started selling everyone of value and low and behold we lost another play off.

Then relative stability set McCabe until the Prince came along and the dispute between those two. Prince wins through court and tries to sell club to Dozy, who is proven to be far from trustworthy. Finally sells to COH and the unrest/court battles continue, potential points deductions.

Of course standard pre season of selling our best players with loan replacements. Nowt new there.

Well having watched Hallam not that long ago it definitely wouldn't be them! There's the obvious blue and white kit but their fans behind the goal were all Wednesday fans singing Wednesday songs but with Hallam instead! I.e we're all Hallam aren't we orway orway or whatever it is.

The most obvious was singing dirty red and white etc to the opposition who played in red n white. I actually started supporting them in the end!

I won't be going back there again!

Through Uniteds history we generally have cunts running us to be honest.

We set up a Sheffield r United phoenix team.

Based in the car park, shoes for goal posts, we sign up the off spring of all our star players from the past 10 years and by the time they are 25, we will rise in greatness throughout the leagues.

key points for the fan base:

GCB song will be revamped with a reggae beat
kidney punch rules will be introduced, meaning it was to be done two handed so both kidneys can be targeted at the same time
at half time, a quik cricket set will be run out and game played to honour our past
signings will remain as only being able to be made within a 30 mile radius of South Yorkshire.
Drinking Peroni will no longer be enforced, but if they can't drink a pint of Stones, they don't get into the starting 11
