I’ve no doubt that Wrexham are in a decent financial position, but I’m not sure they’re significantly better than us or the mid pack of the Championship.

Since promotion, their transfers seem to be pretty solid but nothing that makes me think they are really going for it.

£16m on 3 players isn’t exactly huge money is it. Need to spend way more to challenge the parachute payment teams.

Maybe they’ve wasted a few quid then cause I just look at their squad and I’m not very impressed.

Yes but when u put 14 players in a 19million spend and utd sold vinnie & anal for about combined 12 to 15 million nowt to shout from the rooftops really !!!.

I'm amazed I haven't seen Jake Cooper linked as a cheaper alternative. I know he's a bit older but surely he can do the same job, would link back up with Tanganga and it would stop the bastard scoring against us. Does he have injury issues that I don't know about?

Had a chat with a Millwall fan about him other week and he said cooper has said many times he’ll never play anywhere else and is Millwall through and through. I think they suit each other and prob both be worse without each other

Im from North Wales, and know a lot of Wrexham fans, they think the Souttar links are smokescreens for the Falchener deal. They did the same with Patterson, links with Palmer etc...

Haven’t heard anything different than what I posted yesterday- things change quickly in football as we know and another team could come and try and hijack the deal- but from what I’ve been told, we have an agreement on how much we need to pay, he has expressed his desire to come here all summer, so would just be a medical all being well (I can imagine this would be a pretty stringent one given his previous injury)
