Think we'd all take the first iteration back, was quality. And quality in opposition. If played in the correct position no brainer for me.

cos hes no longer peak ageA Proven forward who has a proven record of scoring goals at this level in his peak age
Please tell me why he isnt a good signing ?
Why can't we afford this type of player ?Gus Hamer player's are a luxury. When they produce its good. When they don't they go missing. We can't afford this type of player in present circumstances
That nesh 50/50 at Wembley still bothers me though. Absolutely fannied it.
Doesn't sound like CW is describing BBD here
He was such an exciting winger 5 or 6 years ago. The downfall has been quite dramatic, but yeah as much as Wilder loves his little black book of transfer targets, he isn't going in for a player released by Seattle Sounders you'd hope. Not to frighten anyone, but Ryan Kent is a free agent![]()
Derby in talks apparently. Which I see as a positive.
What these stats never show is, how many goals against they may stop by being able to adequately defend. In fairness to BBD - in the last three seasons he's only 2 goals behind Hamer. It in the assists where he's nowhere near (7 v 27).
I always think he's useful on the counter/box crashing etc - which is probably why he did well for us in that dire prem season but we'd have to find other ways to make goals because he's clearly not the guy to be provider
In talks with us?Derby in talks apparently. Which I see as a positive.
In talks with us?
