I actually beleieve that this is good for us. He wants to come, he's obvously a good player and now we are well stocked in an area of the pitch that almost everyone last year were mightily concerned about. If we have strangth in midfield, defesively and going forward, then we will be in games.

I'm more concerned about the defence and thats what Souttar, hopefully, corrects.

Cannon has to come good quickly otherwise, with only Bamford, One, and Cambell, none of whom are quick, our goal count will be low unless the midfield can supply the quality through balls.

But, we have a strong midfield now.....

I don’t agree with the vanity signing, but I do agree with the rest. It’s got a feeling of Jordan Henderson World Cup squad inclusion about it. There for the morale and leadership.

The good thing (from what wilder had told us) is it’s seemingly and agreement based on the games he plays.
