This reminds me a lot of the Brayford saga - hyped beyond his actual ability due to a great loan and then very meh once signed on a perm. Here's hoping for a happier ending if Utd do finally land him.

In his interview with Radio Sheffield tonight, he was asked if he’d get money to spend from the outgoings and he said “well we’ve made a bid today, so yes…”
Sounds like we’re after loans and frees but are prepared to spend on Souttar at least.

I agree, the best thing we can do right now is to buy/loan another CB. We need another anyway and it’d make our negotiating position infinitely stronger.
