I have been very vocal in how worried I am this season and critical. If we have £8m to spend then surely there are better ways to spend it to give long term stability.
Souttar won't be coming on small wages.
So appearing to 'moan' when we make bids etc I know may look bad. However I just don't see the strategy, especially long term. Signing souttar and a few on loan won't make us promotion candidates this season. There is a far longer road ahead until that point.
I'd love us to invest in players on sensible wages, players who are long term investments and will be here for all the phases of the rebuild.
This type of signing seems like expensive gambling. I'm bored of the stress.
