Good shout ShockingBadBuy . Abject failure by club and management, 2 days from season KO and all we’ve managed is a crocked old bloke and an aspiring prospect we’re blooding for a successfully run little club.

Wilder should learn to keep his gob shut with “100% won’t be in this position next season” and “2 in before Chesterfield”. But at least he’s got valid excuses for what’s about to happen to us.

What are these “valid excuses” might I ask?

CW needs to have a tactic or two and build a team around that, with starters and back ups for every position. From there he can quickly build a keep and release list, and have a list of targets to fill those gaps.

Go after the first target with a final offer early, and if that fails, go after the second, and so on.

Chasing Phillips all summer and being linked to former players mainly in BBD and Souttar doesn’t scream to me that there’s much of a plan. Now Hamer is rumoured to go, who’s the starter? Is McG out or in? If he’s out then why hasn’t a CB starter come in, or has it in Doherty?

Face it, we’re all over the place, again, and CW isn’t parachuting in this time. He’s had all summer and been given a new shiny contract.
