Player Suggestion Souttar played and scored last night

I wouldn’t get your hopes until you see if Wrexham or West Han react to it tbh.

I mean I’ve said elsewhere I thought 8 million and I don’t doubt we are open to accepting.

But it wouldn’t surprise me if we are leaking information like that to Twitter accounts like to see if there is a better offer going before accepting it.

I mean I say all this without remembering Leicester is run by a bunch of dribbling Neanderthals so I could be wrong.

Who plays on the left side of defence in a Tanganga (Harry) Souttar partnership? Baptiste far more comfortable on the left than what we’ve seen from Tanganga last season. Souttar primarily played on the right with Anel moving to the left when he was here.

If we sign the souttar brothers, i expect at least one of peck, burrows, hamer, ohare or seriki sold. Would we be happy with that business?

Bit harsh on Tanganga that. He was inconsistent but a much better defender than Bindon. I agree Bindon improved and could read the game well but was bullied too easily.
Bindon...decent footballer, sadly not physical enough to play championship football or higher👍

Gonna need some meat on those bones FTPE. Looking a lot like feeling dressed up as fact there.
Yeah I did speak very matter of fact didn't I? Just a complete guess really, but piecing things together I think Peck and Burrows will go, Gus if the right club/offer comes along, then COH and Seriki are here for the long run.
I think McGuinness will get his move now as well because he's been hung out to dry a bit.

Is it beyond possibility we might cash in on Tanganga and get x2 CH?

My source messaged me similar numbers last night. I didn’t post on here as I was playing at tramlines.

He’s been saying this since pre-WC.
Seems fair probably more than fair I’d stick to our guns and yes the money elsewhere if Leicester playing hard ball.

If we had a good scouting network you could make two good signings with resale value for £3mil plus add one each

Yes but how many of them actually know anything? Not a lot.
I know for a fact that very little (I’d go far as to say nothing) gets out of the club these days (eg. Brooks sale being a shock).
They are just going on Wilders interview yesterday.
One dweeb with 14 followers and a twitter handle insinuating they have inside information makes something up. Other aggregator accounts pick it up and amplify until it reaches critical mass where enough people have seen it that it gets taken for truth.

The cyclotron of bullshit.

So basically we are going to be alot weaker than last season ?
I cant really comment on incomings as Im not ITK. With our players I know their contracts, their attitude, abilities, and where they are in the pecking order. So no, I think the incomings will be strong, and I think we'll be better next season.. but Im basing that purely on my faith in Wilder.

Neither can Leicester on his current contract in L1. This is a game of brinkmanship.

I still think we’ll end up with McGuinness moving as part of the deal (valued at ~£3m to keep us in line on the FFP regs) as that helps all three parties.

Surely Leicester need as much cash as they can? Or are you saying regardless of the cash, McG will be valued at £3m as part of a swap? Christ, we could end up paying them more actual cash to fix the accounting value of McG... 🤣

He was a very good player during his loan spell, but his injury record can’t be ignored. I’d be surprised if we’d get 50 appearances out of him over the 3 or 4 year contract we’d give him.

I know £5m doesn’t get you much these days but it could surely be invested more wisely.
This is it for me. It is so tempting, because he's a Colossus but if you spunk a large chunk of your budget into his deal and then he goes down injured. You're screwed in his position and you've presumably also compromised on quality all over the pitch as well. You're not going to get anywhere close to signing anyone of his physical presence but you might get a younger, fitter, cheaper option, with room to grow and develop, and with resale value.

I'm not letting myself get my hopes up around this one. As others have said, if West Ham then make a move, it's all over anyway.
