Shalom bachA black Welsh Protestant Rabbi?![]()
He is, from what I remember, pretty crap.Bit concerning the calibre of player we are looking at.
Struggled at stoke in chamionship albeit 11 games, struggled in Scottish league, struggled in Bundesliga L1 & L2 and currently struggling in Norwegian league.
At 25 years old it doesnt seem to be clicking for him.. seems we reslly are scrapping barrel if this is true.
Appreciate this is snobbery possibly due to ignorance but he was rated at 9m according to Transfermarkt when he was with City. They put a value on him now at 900k!Bit concerning the calibre of player we are looking at.

Probably answered first part alresdy regarding tranfermarkt... £9m more than likely beacuse he was at city.Appreciate this is snobbery possibly due to ignorance but he was rated at 9m according to Transfermarkt when he was with City. They put a value on him now at 900k!
That’s some fall from grace.
He spent a fair bit of his time at Rangers with a hamstring injury. When he was fit he scored 3 and created 3 in 18 matches.
I don’t know where we go with signings like this. At present we have (although not perfect):
LW: Hamer/Oné
RW: Donovan/Chong
AM/10: O’Hare/Hamer/Marsh
CF: Bamford/Campbell/Cannon/Oné/Marsh
That’s 9 for 4 spots.
If you bring in a starting LW then either Gus plays ahead of O’Hare or he plays centrally and that seems more likely only if Peck goes.
Just don’t get this sort of move.
He might be Benie Traore 2.0. Can't risk that. Better get someone in in his thirties on triple the wages, it's saferMight worth a punt if wages etc is reasonable lots of pace and plenty of potential as a younger player that he’s not fulfilled. Worth a gamble as depth etc
I think we just need to accept that we can’t be daft with money and spend it where it is absolutely needed. He might be Benie Traore 2.0. Can't risk that. Better get someone in in his thirties on triple the wages, it's safer
This I can't fathom. If we are genuinely looking for a left-winger, and Wilder wants to play Gus centrally, why the hell is he playing him on the left in pre-season? Particularly, as you say, we have others who could fill in there in the friendlies. As was mentioned by Blademan89 at present we have Gus on the left of three, despite Wilder saying he’d like to play him more centrally. This is surely an avenue for both Oné and Marsh to be introduced to the squad.
Don’t tell Wilder he’s a DEI hireA black Welsh Protestant Rabbi?![]()
This is sounding more & more like last season revisited![]()
SUFC News: Top target's £9m move leaves Blades at crossroads as bar raised again
Another Championship rival appears set to flex its financial muscle in the transfer market, leaving Sheffield United’s owners facing more uncomfortable questions about their own summer recruitment as they look to somehow keep pacewww.thestar.co.uk
Danny Hall conveying just how bad this summer is and will continue to be. I'd take mid table obscurity right now.
