He’d be a great influence on the squad in terms of dressing room, but the trade off regards age and hamstring injury isn’t worth the risk imo. I’d rather we used the funds we’ve got on mid 20 year old players with room to grow and develop.

As Dobbin is 23 and doesn’t seem to have a hope of forcing his way into the Villa team, you would think he’d be sick of going on loan and be pushing for a permanent transfer.
