Why do people think we have no money?
The limiting factor for lots of clubs is the new financial regulations, we may be restricted by that?

What does that matter? He’s been injured for yonks,he’s fit now and showed he is well above our level. He won’t be there either,unless they are paying him an astronomical amount which for some of their players,it’s the normal. Leicester are a much bigger attraction than Utd,they won’t stay there long if they get their act together.

How and when has he showed that he is "well above our level"?

He has looked somewhere around solid Championship standard in the tournament.

He is an international defender who has looked comfortable and a good defender against good forwards in the World Cup. Our level in a very poor league is mid table and that may be challenged this coming season.

You seem very down in relation to our chances this season. I am confident that a number of very good players will see it very differently and will jump at the chance of coming here, provided the money is right.

Whether Souttar will be one of them remains to be seen, but to suggest that he is now somehow out of our league is a bit daft.

I’m not hopeful I’m afraid,I’ve seen the type of football played over the last 2 seasons,not enjoyable at all,tactically lacking (shown how by Hecky,twice) physically limited,no legs in midfield,sell brooks and resign Jairo who is slower than me and lasts 35 minutes,conceded stacks last season and lost nearly as many as those wankers across the city. Shocking loan signings again,old boys club from the top down,awful scouting staff,never mind,all will come good with a good pre season.

They've been "weighing up" a move for about 2 weeks now.
 
Yes, as suspected by most, unfortunately the asking price we thought we had agreed has now increased to £10M which apparently Wrexham are willing to pay.
