Solid sleeves work so much better and in red they look great.I don't like the solid sleeves. I dont like the pinstripes because it seems we've had that a lot in recent seasons, I hate the red back. I'd prefer white socks.
If this kit was made by Macron I think our fans would say it's crap, which it is regardless. Right, that's my last post on the kit because I knew it would disappoint me and it has but I knew that as soon as they confirmed we'd returned to Adidas because they're incapable of a traditional striped shirt. Id much prefer to stay with Errea
Fair enough Swiss. I disagree obviously. I'm 47 but the 70's before I was born and the 80's were the era to buy a blades shirt. 90's had some crackers too. I can't fathom why anyone thinks a solid sleeve looks better than stripes myself. If I wanted a solid red sleeve I'd buy a Liverpool or Man U shirt.Solid sleeves work so much better and in red they look great.
Only downside is those big thick adidas stripes, I’d prefer the slimmer 3 stripes but seems that all Adidas kits have it
I bought one Errea kit but didn’t like the designs after. Plus the quality of the shirts didn’t feel as good. Adidas are just far superior kits (quality and fit wise) to any other brand
I’ll be getting this one and can’t wait for the adidas leisure range again.
What did you expect ?Really ordinary again. Just like everything United at the moment.

I’m 48, so similar experience and different view point.Fair enough Swiss. I disagree obviously. I'm 47 but the 70's before I was born and the 80's were the era to buy a blades shirt. 90's had some crackers too. I can't fathom why anyone thinks a solid sleeve looks better than stripes myself. I do understand there's variations but just what were people bloody expecting. It's difficult to get imaginative with a red and white stripe shirt unless you do something very radical and you can stake your wealth on thousands of grown men stomping their feet if that was the caseDisappointing. Average 5 out of 10. Dull, unimaginative boring. Lets hope the performance on the pitch is the polar opposite this season. Template preferred to tradition. No shirt stripes on the back of an adidias kit again! Pinstripe obsession on the front continues.
Wonder how many more years it will be before we get white socks back? Just hoping the obsession with red hasnt extended to the shorts.
Agreed, we're fucked! Its not the kit .... its whose playing in it!
Stripey sleeves work with stripey back. If the back is solid, the sleeves being solid work better.Fair enough Swiss. I disagree obviously. I'll give you that. But personally I think striped sleeves work really well with striped back!Stripey sleeves work with stripey back. If the back is solid, the sleeves being solid work better.

Disappointing. Average 5 out of 10 but not unexpected as its Adidas and I only liked one of their previous home shirts. Dull unimaginative and boring imo. Lets hope the performances on the pitch are the polar opposite this season. Template preferred to tradition. No shirt stripes on the back of an adidias kit again! Pinstripe obsession on the front continues.

I quite like it
