Outgoing? Peck

Stating the obvious, but Whoever comes in for him if he wants to go we must try for as much as we can get, doesn’t matter where he goes

He's a pure profit (or almost) player with two years on his deal. If a decent bid comes in the club has little choice due to financial fair play and the needs to reinvest in long term assets.

Brentford 100% sorted after last game arc derby and getting his wages quadrupled

Crazy how our fan base can’t grasp that teams looking to buy Sydie are buying into his potential and that’s where the premium fees come into play. Peck was deservedly in the running for Championship young player of the season, his fee needs to reflect this. I’d be disappointed with anything less than 15m with top ups and sell on clause, no idea how our latest owners are going to value our assets, hopefully more aligned to Prince Abdullah than Kevin McCave.

We’ve a history of allowing players to leave on the cheap and we need to sell for premium fees and start to reinvest sensibly.

Under the new EFL rules I was under the impression “pure profit” is a bit less significant. Main thing is revenue.

I don't think Peck is amazing, but he does have quite a high ceiling. We should be looking at £15m, with a hefty sell-on etc (if he has a long term contract with us)..

If not, somewhere north of £12m with add-ons to take it towards £18m.

He's played a lot of football and done very well. English tax. Leadership qualities. Good character.
There's value in all that.

What’s he done to be anything other than be an average player? Doesn’t create doesn’t score side to side backwards and repeat
At 21 years old he’s become a mainstay in our Midfield while becoming an England u21 international. 5 goals, 4 assists this season when he’s not an attacking midfielder. Probably 7 years off his peak and seems like he’s got the attitude to reach his potential.

Rumours that West Ham and Brentford are interested and I’m sure he’s on plenty more radars. The stats below don’t scream average and this is at 21. But sure, bang average, lets give him away for a couple of million because Anston not so keen.

So, is he any good then?🤣

if that's your opinion then there's not much point discussing his virtues but here's a few anyway. He's scored a couple, would have more in a more attack minded team, played some excellent through balls, some resulted in goals and some didn't due to our strikers being shit but if you watch without blinkers, you should see them.

In a team that's set up as negatively as we are it's difficult to drive us forward, he at least tries (he's streets ahead of Riedewald who was lauded by many but the most negative player we've had in a long time). His tackling, aggression and energy is good but I've a feeling that he won't get full recognition at the Lane until he leaves. Sadly we're too insular as a club and a fan base, we'd rather shout Arblasters name from the rooftops (now he's an average player) because he's one of our own 😏 than enjoy a lad with a southern accent and puffy hair.

UTBFTP 👊👊👊

Players go for whatever someone offers for them - United can’t dictate any bids.
They can only look at the finances and if it keeps the club ticking over they will selll anyone
Just like 99% of clubs
