I'd absolutely have him. He was a terrific outlet down the left for Sunderland when they got promoted. Was the main reason they were the stronger side in the first half of the game at the Lane - it took us subbing Femi on to get to grips with him. Very keen eye for goal too, as evidenced by the winner vs us at Wembley.

The big issue is that Wilder hasn't previously shown any meaningful interest in players of Watson's profile - quick, tricky wide players, who are always keen to take on their marker. It's a type of player he hasn't ever really taken advantage of whilst he's been Blades manager - I can't remember any players he's signed of that mould.

Quality player. We should be all over it. Giving it a 2/10 chance of happening as it’s hard to think of a player wilder would be interested less in. Tricky winger, takes people on, embarrassed him on his big day etc…
