Hamza Choudhury

I recognise him. He plays for us on loan in my FIFA career mode. Doesn't get many games because Dean Furman, of Doncasterlona fame, is in stonking form. Had some good appearances in the FA Cup though.

I'll be honest; I only signed him because he had a bonkers haircut. I also signed Ezequiel Ponce from Roma because, well...'Ponce' :D

Ponce is a decent signing on FIFA. You manage to sign him permanently?

Any relation to this fella?

Can't hear a word hes saying but brave to go and speak to the fans.

I for one am absolutely delighted they've been relegated. Horrible arrogant bunch of fans when they came to the Lane for the first game of the season in the PL.
I thought Leicester fans hated him? Fair play to go over and face the fans when his team-mates were sloping off home.
Given a whole 5 minutes last night to try and force a win. I'd like to see him back at the Lane provided we play him higher up the pitch than last time.

If I’d played for Leicester i’d be straight out there, blaming the fans.

“You got too big for your boots lads, a few years in League 1 will humble you. I’m about to fly off to Miami in a few weeks. Go back to your hovels”

My coup de grâce would be to drive off in my expensive car chanting Coventry.

From what I can make out, I think the fans appreciated the fact he'd stopped to speak to them. One fan in particular was complaining about the abuse they'd got from Winks after the Pompey defeat (just as Winks was boarding the team bus to escape the flak).

I like Hamza.

Not saying he'd definitely be right for us next season, either positionally or financially, but there's plenty to admire about him imho.

Notable how he was one of about two who properly acknowledged the fans at Wembley last season and looked as gutted as anyone out there.

A very good defensive minded player, probably suited to playing in a team that focuses on counter attacks with fast attacking forwards.

I don't think he works in a Wilder esque 'Possesion based side'

Why do our fans think he's a good player or would be a great addition? He provided cover for a handful of matches whether in midfield or at right-back, and he did alright, nothing more. This season, he has started just over 10 league games in a side that is most likely to finish 23rd in the division and is on an absolutely huge wage. If we're bringing in players like this, then god help us.

And in the cup game a few years ago - "we'll never play you again" they sang...
Get to fuck.

He's okay. I think some are maybe remembering him with rose tinted glasses because Gilchrist and Clarke were a bit shit before him?

He’s a good solid reliable consistent back up.. what’s not to like? Also brings millions of fans from Bangladesh ..
If you sign backups then you end up going nowhere. Have to be signing players that improve the squad, which shouldn't be too difficult given the state of our side right now.
